

Fruit coating waxes are produced according to all the latest European Directives and Regulations for their safe use on fresh fruits. They are either water-soluble (“hot waxes”) or dissolved in an organic solvent (“cold waxes” or “polishes”). Their main application is on citrus fruits, although their use is permitted on some other fruits as well. Coating fruits with wax helps prevent dehydration, thus preserving their freshness.
Available in barrels of 100 and 200 liters.
