Ground Cover Film
Description
HELLAGRO ground cover film is made from plastic (polyethylene) and is widely used in the agricultural sector. The ground cover film essentially creates a protective layer on the soil, which ensures the early growth of crops. This happens because it helps increase the soil temperature, resulting in faster plant growth. Additionally, it protects crops from weed growth and harmful microorganisms by reducing light penetration to the roots.
The ground cover film also helps retain soil moisture by preventing excessive water evaporation, especially during dry conditions.
It is placed on the soil, and then plants are planted by opening small holes according to the planting layout.
