CLF (Cross Laminated Fabric) mesh is a non-woven polypropylene fabric mesh laminated in perpendicular directions, which is used both as a standalone packaging material and as reinforcement for paper, film, aluminum foil, foams, and non-woven materials.
Each filament is oriented and can be thermally bonded, allowing CLF meshes to be successfully used in many packaging and lamination processes. Manufacturing CLF mesh involves an exceptionally complex process, starting with co-extrusion and ending with an extremely precise mesh of filaments laminated in perpendicular directions.
CLF mesh is suitable for packaging dry to slightly moist products with a total weight of 0.5 – 2.5kg. When laminated or heat-sealed with other materials, it can handle even heavier weights.
